Sometimes, silence is golden and when one chose to overshoot on this, the resulting effect remains detrimental and calls for mental examination, especially when it comes from one whom the gray hair ought to itche in approach to a rethink, but no – caution is thrown into the winds.
When a non religious fellow starts prophesying, the innocence shield in protection. When a non engineer starts analyzing structural compositions, quackery sets in and when sentiment becomes the bedrock of criticism, contradiction dominates the content.
The government is bigger than any one and of course the government isn’t a secret society as such, should government wish to carry out a demolition, it would be done in broad daylight to ensure no casualty and to get the precision as proposed: case study – the “physically challenged” structure codenamed “Somtom Hospital”.
I am approaching this from my displeasure over the ignorance or lack of empathy of some people towards Imolites. A living being who has or supposed to have transversed the nooks and crannies of Nigeria and the globe at large (may be overrated) yet chose to seek that Imolites pass through the cave at IMHA junction of Port Hacourt road, in the name of Tunnel?
My God! Is that the level of callousness in the name of politics? You could have chosen to concentrate on that which you had been instructed to write on by your boss without opening healed wounds. However it doesn’t surprise any right thinking fellow, because total disregard to law and order is the order of the camp.
Assuming, without conceding to, the fact that suspected agents of the governments demolished A PART (not in full) of the IICC, would that operation be done discreetly? Whom is the government hiding from? – an Internally Displayed Politician (IDP)? Funny things in Imo!.
By the submission to the fact that three point agenda was behind the “alleged” demolition, Dee Sam ought to be called for questioning on his role in the collapse of the building. His prompt investigation leading to his conclusion of an alleged conspiracy by government’s agent contradicts all he has accused the government of in recent times and he should be held accountable to the cause of the collapse but, because by precedence and COREN reports, his master is synonymous with substandard structures that fail even while in office.
To think that this building had undergoing three renovation exercises, with the forth one on the way, barely after 6years of construction, holds enough substance to the confirmation of their inclination to substandard projects.
To puncture some points as dropped in order to prove their falsehood, we take a toll on these: if there hadn’t been any crack as claimed, why has it undergone three renovations under the same administration that built it? Was it just a way of claiming to be working hard while they hardly work?.
The acclaimed propaganda originated from the guilt that’s ravaging the camp seeking rescue by putting up a defense where none was needed. A true leader takes the glory and the blame. Shying away from these is a clear indication of a tyrant.
His Excellency the Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has the mandate of Ndi Imo and remains the Governor of Imo State, whatever in his wisdom that’s appropriate for Ndi Imo, that he will do to the glaring of Imolites and not under any guise.
Let the defender of the IDPs be informed that Imolites are tired of their crass sentimental appeal and nepotism.
